My paintings are composites based on photos I have taken as I navigate life in the city. Working from 4”x6” snapshots, I build and layer the various vantage points into a kaleidoscopic composition. There is only a vague idea of composition when I begin the canvas and no use of computer or software to plan the piece. The finished results are loose, energetic, and dream-like.
